The Yokohama Tire Manufacturing Administrative and Training Center includes a 24,750-square-foot building adjacent to the Yokohama Tire Manufacturing plant in West Point, Miss. The facility houses administrative and engineering staff, and provides training space for new employees. The space is also used as a multi-purpose center for events. The lecture hall cross functions as a storm-hardened room which can serve as a shelter in the event of inclement weather. The design is both modern and functional. In addition to its administrative and training capacity, it serves as a welcoming center for visitors to the site.
